Police Clearance Certificate

For Afghan Nationals

1. A Request Letter
The applicant must write a letter in Pashto, Dari, or English addressed to the Consulate General of Afghanistan. The letter should include:
The specific service requested
Full name, father’s name, date and place of birth
Current residential address
Contact number
2. Provide Fingerprints
The applicant must submit a set of 10 fingerprints on the designated form. These should either be taken:
By a fingerprint expert service center, or
At the Consulate General of Afghanistan
3. Submit Passport Copy
A clear copy of the applicant’s valid passport must be provided.
4. Submit Tazkira Copy
The applicant must submit one of the following:
A copy of their own Tazkira, or
A copy of a paternal relative’s Tazkira (e.g., father, grandfather, uncle, aunt, or cousin)
5. Provide Proof of Address
The applicant must submit any one of the following documents showing their current address in India:
Driver’s license
Utility bill
Bank statement
UNHCR card
Residential Permit (RP)
House rent agreement/contract
6. Pay the Application Fee
A fee of USD 10 must be paid per application.

The applicant must provide copies of all Afghan visas held in the past.
5. Provide Proof of Address
The applicant must submit any one of the following documents showing their current address in India:
Indian Visa
Driver’s license
Utility bill
Bank statement
Residential Permit (RP)
House rent agreement/contract
6. Submit Employment Proof
The applicant must provide either:
A copy of employment contract, or
An employment letter
7. Pay the Application Fee
A fee of USD 10 must be paid per application.
