The Consulate General of Afghanistan in Mumbai issues marriage certificates only when:
Both the bride and groom, or their legally authorized representatives with a valid and properly attested Wakalatnama (Power of Attorney), are physically present during the registration process.
Two adult serving as witnesses must also be physically present and carry valid identification.
Please ensure all documents are complete to avoid delays.

Marriage Certificate will be issued on the same day, provided all required documents are submitted and the applicable requirements are fulfilled.
